“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the Power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith” (Romans 1:16-17).
The Apostle paul declares in this scripture the potency and the credulous power of the Gospel of Christ. He evidently declared the Gospel as God’s powerful means of bringing men into salvation. The reality of this is that the Gospel is potent(powerful and active).
The Gospel is not just words or statement meant to make man repent or words just to rebuke man of sin, it is not just a statement about whom God is or about what Jesus did on the cross. No! It is more than all these, it is a Good News unto awareness and awaking, it is a Good News unto reality; unto the reality of love, grace, power and Life. It is a revelation of God’s fullness and His acceptance to make His fullness dwell in man. It is a Good News of been called into oneness with God through Christ.
The Gospel is a Good News that is good indeed! It is a good news that springs joy in the heart of the hearer to accept God’s love. It opens man to the reality and consciousness of God’s great grace.
Paul could categorically and boldly declare his allegiance for the Gospel because it’s credible and potent. It is the Good News that changes status; it does translate from darkness into light- Col. 1:13, from death into life John5:24,1John3:14, from sickness into health 1Pet.2:24 etc. The Good News of Christ is quick and active; when it is let loose, God’s power is let loose; when it is let loose, God’s love is let loose; when it is let loose, God’s fullness is let loose…
Find your place in the reality of this truth and experience God’s fullness in the Words of His grace by His Spirit of truth. If you’re yet to receive this Good News of Christ into your spirit, open up your heart today and make Jesus the Lord of your life, believe His Works and Words and accepts His gospel of grace and enjoy richly His fullness. And if you’ve been saved, you can persist and crave more, crave for more reality into His Gospel of grace and live life in the abundance of His fullness…
