THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST JESUS (4)

… Unto the Gospel of God, (Which he had promised afore by His prophets in the holy scriptures,) Concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh. Romans1:1-3.
This Scriptures above gave us an expose into the reality of this Gospel of Grace. It tells us that the Gospel has once been a promise. The truth need been said that the grace that we now walk in was once a prophecy, it has long ago been declared by the Spirit of God through the prophets. Little wonder the Bible says in Revelation 19:10 that the Testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.
The Bible tells us that all the laws and the prophets (the prophecies) points to Jesus. Jesus was a fulfillment of prophecies and all He came to do was to fulfill all that was said of Him in the ‘Book’. Hebrews10:5-7.
His birth through a virgin was prophesied- Isaiah7:14, His birthplace was prophesied Micah5:2 everything about Him speaks of prophecy. Even at the point of His death, He once said ‘But if I did, how would the Scriptures be fulfilled’. -Matthew26:54 TLB. And blessed be God, Jesus while here on earth was never derailed from His purpose, He fulfilled all even unto death -Phillipians2:8.
The eternal life Jesus brought was prophecy fulfilled, The Bible says God has promised this before the world began -Titus1:2. I once said by revelation that ‘God doesn’t reacts, He acts’. The plans of salvation through the Gospel of Christ Jesus is not a plan God began to formulate after the fall of man or after He saw that man could not fulfill the demands of the law. No! The Bible says ‘before the world began’.
“Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:” 2Timothy1:9-10. “And now in his own good time he has revealed this Good News…” Titus1:3 TLB. “But when the proper time had fully come, God sent His son, born of a woman, born subject to [the regulations] the Law” Galatians4:4 AMP.
The Word of God has shown us clear enough that the Gospel had been preordained long since creation and God waited until the fullness of time to reveal His grace. What a favoured generation we are! This awareness alone ought to stir up our spirit to receive the bounty package of God’s wonderful love. God waited all this long to make know His love and grace in my days? Oh, I’m blessed and favoured!
Galatians3:8,16 tells us that the Gospel was even preached to Abraham- God testify Christ to and through Abraham long before the advent of the law. The Heroes in Hebrews11 were never partaker of the Gospel yet they were heroes of faith, how much more you and I. Little wonder the 40th verse tells us that God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. Oh! What a graced generation. That’s why it bleeds God’s heart seeing that many haven’t come unto the realization of His love.
He has brought you in this time to partake of His glorious Gospel of love and grace, don’t fail Him!
