I KNOW WHO I AM (5)

Today we will conclude the ‘I Know Who I am’ series by considering the third point of our study- ‘where God says we are’.
Everything Jesus received when He was raised from the dead, everything that has happened to Jesus since He was raised from the dead, is yours – not just part of it, all of it! His inheritance and your inheritance are one in the same. You are a joint-heir with Him. (Romans 8:17).
Ephesians 1:11 says, “In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will….” This doesn’t say you are going to obtain your inheritance; it says you have already obtained it. This verse of scripture is past tense. You have obtained an inheritance. Part of your inheritance includes your family position with God.
Where did Jesus go when He was raised? To the right hand of the Father. That’s where you are now! Ephesians 2:6 says, “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” Jesus was raised from the dead by the mighty power of God and was seated at His own right hand in the heavenly places. That same mighty power of God worked in you when you made Jesus the Lord of your life. It raised you up and set you in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. He is in you and you are in Him. The Apostle Paul prayed that the eyes of our understanding be enlightened to know the glory of our inheritance in the saints and the exceeding greatness of God’s power toward us who believe. The exceeding greatness of His power. What does His power mean to the believer? Let’s read on in Ephesians 1:20-23: Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.
The body of Christ is “the fullness of Him.” He is not full and complete without you and you are not full and complete without Him. Colossians 2:9-10 says, “For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.” Colossians 3:3 says, “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God”. Colossians 1:21-23 says, “And you…hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreprovable in his sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard.” We see from God’s Word that we are in Christ and we are with Christ, that is where God says we are now. Though we walk in this world, our place is not in this world, we are seated high- high with Christ above all principalities and powers. All things are been put under Jesus’ feet and because you are in Him and with Him, all things are under your feet.
You are in the Body of Christ here on earth. If you are in His Body, then you are in Him. Don’t be moved away from the things the Word is telling you. Don’t think: That couldn’t be for me. Don’t allow the devil or anyone else to move you away from the inheritance that rightfully belongs to you
in Christ Jesus. When the Word says that you are holy, unblameable, and unreproveable in the sight of God, then receive it.
If you have a working revelation of your redemption in Christ Jesus, you will be mindful of your words and your actions, you will began to see yourself as God sees you, then you will know that your salvation contains a glorious inheritance and a complete redemption.
You need to see yourself with Him and in Him. See yourself the way the Word says you are, not how you are going to be. John said, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God…” (I John 3:2). When? NOW!
God has already unleashed in your life all the blessings that heaven has to offer. They are already yours! But God won’t force them on you. You have to accept your inheritance in Christ Jesus and allow it to be a part of your life before you will be able to walk in it. Admit and accept who God says you are, what God says you have and where God says you are.
