YOU WILL HAVE WHAT YOU SAY

“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” Mark 11:23.
Words are not cheap; therefore, we are not to be loose with them. Many are unaware of the gravity of spoken words. Too few are aware that their words are important and count in determining their outcomes in life. Ignorantly, many have spoken the dilemma they are presently grappling with. It is sad that though the Word of God has revealed this truth, yet many have failed to realize it.
Jesus taught His disciples to use their words to accomplish feats. He taught them to speak on purpose and for the purpose of glorifying God. You see, words are spiritual containers, which are meant to be filled with faith and grace for the purpose of edification. Anything contrary to this is “word abuse”.
The Word declares in Ephesians 4:29 “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers”. Words are seeds we sow daily, the harvest of which is sure. The Word also declares in Galatians 6:7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap”.
Beloved, knowing that you will have what you say, what kind of words are you supposed to be saying? Let the Wisdom of God guide you. Be conscious of the power of your tongue. Keep saying the right things in line with God’s Word and you will have them come to pass in your life. Use your tongue wisely.
CONFESSION: In the Name of Jesus, I put my tongue under the influence of the Word and of the Spirit. I make the most of every opportunity to speak by discretion and understanding. What comes out of my mouth is the proceeding Word of God in my spirit. I sow the right seeds for my future daily, and I reap the right harvest in Jesus name. Amen!
