NO FEAR IN LOVE

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” 1 John 4:18.
Some people become uneasy when we start talking about the coming of the Lord. “What will God say to me? Will He be pleased with what I did?” they wonder. You shouldn’t become afraid or uncomfortable with the topic; instead, be glad about it. The Bible says, “In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion {and} attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world” 1 John 4:17 AMP.
The reason these folks are uncomfortable and even fearful when they think about the Day of Judgment is that they don’t know Who Jesus really is. When you understand who Jesus is, you would know who you are, and that knowledge will drive fear away from you.
The Bible didn’t say we’ll be like Jesus when we get to Heaven; rather, it says “…as He is, so are we in this world.” That means, you‘re like Him right here on earth; you don’t have to wait till you get to heaven.
When the Holy Spirit reveals Jesus to you and you get to know Him as you should, you would love Him. The more you love Him, the more like Him you become; you’ll begin to talk like Him and think like Him. When you’re acquainted with Jesus, your love for Him will continue to grow and fear will be driven away from your life. This is why you need to meditate on His Word and declare those things which He has said about you.
The more you spend time in the Word of God, the more you’re perfected in the love of God; His love will take root in your heart and mantle your life. This is how to get rid of fear, failure, sickness and discouragement.
