“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” 3 John 1:2.
Don’t be deceived into thinking prosperity will take you to hell. Prosperity doesn’t take people to hell. It is refusing to put one’s trust in Jesus that takes one to hell. Prosperity is God’s will for all of His children. Our opening verse reveals that it is God’s desire to be in health and prosperity.
In Psalms 35:27, the Word declares “Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant”.
Beloved, God has pleasure in the prosperity of those who love and serve Him; He has pleasure in your prosperity. When you love God and serve Him, He prospers you abundantly. Abraham is a biblical example of the fact that prosperity is God’s will. The Bible says in Isaiah 51:2 “Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him”. God called Abraham and he heeded His call, and He blessed Him. God didn’t make him poor; He blessed Him. God doesn’t call to poverty; He only calls to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3).
Beloved, prosperity is God’s will for you; believe in it.
